Nidal is an expert in university rankings, a researcher, and an associate professor. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and a Master of Science in Quality Management from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
As Vice-President for Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance at An-Najah National University (Nablus, Palestine), He now in charge of the university’s international ranking. He has also worked for Stockholm University, Lulea University of Technology, and Uppsala University.
His current work focuses on developing effective techniques to improve university rankings and academic reputation, in addition to teaching and researching in the domains of Higher Education Quality Assurance, Accreditation, Rankings, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Planning.
