On 5-6 May, it was time for this year's edition of the Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference with the theme: Sustainable manufacturing - green value chains. The conference set a new record with 485 participants.
– I think the large number of participants is due to several things. Our various clusters have been more active this year and engaged more people. The fact that the conference was digital gave more people the opportunity to participate and the theme sustainable production is right in time. In addition, the invitation to the conference was widely distributed, thanks to help from the companies in the cluster’s Management Group, FKG and RISE, says Boel Wadman, project manager for the Production Clusters, which arranges the conference together with leading R&D actors in Sweden.
