Smart Maintenance: How can we make the digitalisation of the maintenance of the industry a possibility?

Today, companies have new possbilities thanks to the technological advances that have been made. The access to cheap sensors and cloud-services create the pre-requisites to implement new, smart technology. The technology that is available today gives you information about the next stop or when it is time to carry out maintenance. But to be leading edge, the companies need to be able to collect different types of data, identify critical tie-ups and to explain logically which solution is the most profitable one. How can you predict tie-ups and streamline processes? Do you want to learn more about the possbilities of digitalisation?

Researchers from Chalmers will tell you about the SMASh-project, a project in Produktion2030. The idea of the project is to develop tools for Smart Maintenance Assessment (SMA), which makes benchmarking of maintenance-industries within and between different industries and enterprises a possibility. The tool will support and inspire the implementation of Smart Maintenance through an increased cooperation within the maintenance-business.
