| The information meeting is specifically aimed at researchers at universities, institutes and companies, who are actively seeking funding for collaborative projects within the fields of Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials, Industrial Biotechnology and new Production Technologies — NMB-P.
A key feature of the Work Programme (WP) is the Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Factories of the Future, and Energy efficient Buildings and SPIRE – Sustainable Process Industries. The information meeting provides an opportunity to meet with Dr. Gustaf Winroth, Industrial Technologies, European Commission, Directorate General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission. Dr. Winroth will give an overview of the opportunities within the upcoming Horizon 2020, NMB-P call, i.e. WP2016-2017. Moreover, project examples will share their experiences on setting up and running NMB-P projects. Issues that will be covered are for example: How did they develop their idea into a project proposal and what were the success factors of their proposals? It is important to note that the NMB-P theme pays particular attention to the involvement of industry through its direct participation in projects and that participation of SMEs is strongly encouraged. VINNOVA’s National Contact Point (NCP) for NMP will be at the meeting and there will also be opportunities for networking and more informal discussions with other NCP:s during the coffee break.
