Virtual production development
Anna Syberfeldt the leader of the research group Production & Automation Engineering at the University of Skövde which consists of approx. 4o researchers working within the area of virtual engineering. The group’s research is to a large extent applied and carried out in close cooperation with industrial partners, mainly within the manufacturing industry. The research covers various areas such as simulation, optimization, robotics, decision-support systems and operator tools.
Anna’s research is focused on virtual production development and the solving of complex real-world industrial problems. Anna uses various virtual approaches, artificial intelligence, and IT-based applications in her research. Anna is leading several research projects and supervises ten PhD students.
