IMSIM – In-line Measurement and Simulation Integration in Manufacturing

Project time: 2017 – 2018

Budget: 719 300 kronor

Funding: SIP Produktion2030

The purpose of this project is to perform a first investigation of the potential to evaluate in-line measurements with temporally resolved digital holographic interferometry using advanced process simulations.

The purpose of this project is to perform a first investigation of the potential to evaluate in-line measurements with temporally resolved digital holographic interferometry using advanced process simulations. The objective is to gain a direct feedback of momentary process states. The test process chosen is laser additive manufacturing with wire wherefore complementary measurements with IR-camera is performed. The objectives with this short project is to develop a first draft of a software that highlights the potential with the technology.
