The 28th of May 2019, PDA and SIG-PM met in a workshop where industrial challenges and the future of product development were discussed. The workshop was hosted by KTH
and included an interesting presentation of the XPRES initiative on manufacturing which also involves MDH. Insightful challenges were presented by industrial representatives from SIG-PM and reflections from the PDA board was shared. The workshop resulted in a few concrete actions. For example, to support ‘life-long-learning’ the PHD courses offered by PDA shall be open for practitioners in industry.
