Presentation skills
This is an on-line course on two separate days, for those who are about to do an important presentation about their research to a mixed audience, especially when you have reached licentiate or PhD exam.
Prerequisites
PM1: Research Communication Step 1 – Fundamental
Aim
Participants should be able to successfully present their research to a mixed audience.
Content
This course is focused on some theory and a lot of practical training. Before day one you send a recorded presentation to the course leader. On the first day of the course we have some theory and then analyze and suggest how to change the presentation for the better. Then you have a few days to work with, improve and record a new presentation that we analyze day two. Followed by an interview with critical scientific questions about your research presentation.
Organization
This is an on line two half-day course. When you have registered for the course you will be contacted by the course provider.
Examination
As an examination the participants should do an approved presentation about their research.

Denna kurs är avsedd för de som står inför en viktig presentation av sin forskning som t.ex. licentiat eller doktorand och kursen är uppföljare till ögonöppnaren för forskningskommunikation PM1, alternativt PM2.
Utbildningen ges on-line under två kurstillfällen med en deltagare per gång. Den är praktiskt inriktad och förutsätter att deltagaren skickar in en inspelad presentation till kursledaren i förväg. Under kursen ges en kort teoretisk genomgång av hur förberedelser och genomförande bör gå till, sedan analyseras presentationen och deltagaren får konkreta tips om förändringar och förbättringar. Dag två görs analys av den nya presentationen som kursdeltagaren gjort efter förändringar och förbättringar. Efter genomgången görs också en intervju med svårare forskningsinriktade frågor och analys av svaren.
