The strategic innovation program Production 2030 announces SEK 41 million for research and innovation projects. The projects will contribute to a sustainable and resilient (resistant) manufacturing industry in Sweden.

We want to create sustainable production that copes with disruptions or unexpected events and that meets the long-term sustainability goals in Agenda 2030. The production of the future will also contribute to socially sustainable workplaces and attractive, knowledge-intensive jobs.

Research and innovation projects must focus on one of Produktion2030’s six industrial challenge areas and have a project time of a maximum of 3 years. Consortia can apply for a maximum of SEK 6 million in grant financing.

The project partners must finance at least 50% of the project’s total budget. We would like the project results to be tested, demonstrated or validated in an existing test bed, laboratory environment or equivalent.

Produktion2030 wants to increase collaboration between business and research actors, as well as increase gender equality, by both women and men taking the grant on an equal footing and having an influence in the project. Production2030 also places great emphasis on small and medium-sized companies being part of the project consortium. Criteria for project consortia: at least three industrial companies in the Swedish manufacturing industry; at least one actor from a university or college; at least one actor from research institutes.
