My work focuses on Digital Twins in production logistics to create real-time management and enhance development capabilities.

Erik is a postdoctoral candidate at the Department of Sustainable Production Development in the research area of Production and Logistics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His research focuses on simulation-based decision making in production systems in close collaboration with the manufacturing industry. The aim of his research is to develop tools and methods supporting decision making that help manufacturing companies achieve increased competitiveness. Erik holds a PhD in Innovation and Design and M. Sc. in Production and Logistics from Mälardalens Högskola, and a B.Sc. in Mechatronics from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). Erik is a member of the Cyber-Physical Assembly and Logistics System in Global Supply Chains (CPALS) project involving KTH, Scania, HD Wireless, Ericsson, Yura, Dexta, and Sungkyunkwan University.
