The course provides insight into the area of Trend spotting including training in trend spotting related to ongoing research where industrial and societal outlooks serve as a platform for the course content.

Welcome to an introductory course specially designed for Production2030.

For you as a PhD student with more than 2 years of research practice (~120 hec), the course provides guidance and support in your doctoral studies to identify trends related to your research area and present these in relation to societal and industrial perspectives. You choose your own areas to focus on in an individual task, preferably linked to your PhD student project, as well as contribute to a joint trend spotting project with 1-2 other participants. In addition, the course provides good opportunities for creating long-term relationships and networks in academia and industry.
